The Link to Dromore Presbyterian Church

For the past forty-six years Drumreagh Presbyterian and Dromore Presbyterian churches have been united.
The reason for this union began in 1956 when the Original Secession Church ceased to exist Its congregations joined the Church of Scotland. The two congregations in Ireland, Toberdoney and Dromore were united and entered the general Assembly of the Presbyterian Church under the ministry of the Rev James H Beggs the minister of Toberdoney at that time. In 1957 they became part of the Route Presbyterian but a re-organisation took place and Toberdoney was united with Croaghmore Presbyterian and Dromore was united with Drumreagh.
The Rev J. J. Forbes was ordained as minister of Dromore on 12th December 1957 and union between both churches was and still continues to be a very happy and strong one today.
